Between the Waves and the Stars One-Year Bookiversary Giveaway

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. Sponsor

  • This giveaway is sponsored by B.P. Lynch and Aldebaran Creative LLC ("Sponsors").

  • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta.

2. Eligibility

  • The giveaway is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and who have a valid Instagram account.

  • The prize can only be shipped to a valid mailing address within the United States. The Sponsors reserve the right to verify eligibility before awarding the prize.

3. Giveaway Period

  • The giveaway begins when the official giveaway post is published on Instagram and ends at 11:59 PM EDT on August 5, 2026.

  • Entries received after the deadline will not be eligible.

4. How to Enter

  • To receive one (1) entry, participants must complete all of the following during the Giveaway Period:

  1. Follow @bplynchauthor on Instagram.

  2. Like the official giveaway post.

  3. Leave a comment sharing your favorite summer book.

5. Bonus Entries

  • Participants may earn one (1) additional entry for each of the following:

    • Share the giveaway post to your Instagram Story and tag @bplynchauthor.

    • Repost the giveaway post to your Instagram feed.

    • Tag two (2) friends in a comment on the giveaway post.

  • Each bonus method may be completed only once. Tagged friends must be real individuals and may not be fake, duplicate, or giveaway-only accounts. Sponsors will make final determination on validity of tagged accounts.

6. Prize

  • One (1) winner will receive one (1) copy of Between the Waves and the Stars (Approximate Retail Value: $17.99).

  • No cash substitution is permitted.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

  • One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

  • The winner will be announced within 72 hours after the giveaway closes and contacted via Instagram Direct Message from @bplynchauthor.

  • The winner must respond within 72 hours of notification and provide a valid U.S. mailing address. If the selected winner does not respond in time, is ineligible, declines the prize, or cannot be contacted, the Sponsors may select an alternate winner.

8. General Conditions

  • The Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Official Rules, uses multiple or fraudulent accounts, employs automated entry methods, or otherwise attempts to interfere with the fair operation of the giveaway.

  • The Sponsors may cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if circumstances beyond the Sponsors' reasonable control affect its administration.

  • The Sponsors' decisions regarding all aspects of the giveaway are final.

9. Privacy

  • Any personal information collected from the winner will be used solely for administering the giveaway and shipping the prize.
